Not only the big animals are beautiful, look out for the small beauty as well

Elephants with a baby can act quit aggressiv to protect their little ones

Beautiful birdlife in this area

Giraffes have their private bird friends

(Nikon D500, 200-500mm at 500mm, ISO 320, f/5.6, 1/1000)

Groups of impalas

Again a colourful sunset

(Sony A7R3, 24-240mm at 24mm, ISO 100, f/7.1, 1/160)
(Nikon D500, 200-500mm at 280mm, ISO 100, f/5.6, 1/1250)

On the way back to the camp we had to stop because the road was blocked by a male lion, observing a few impalas as potential targets for a hunt. Photo conditions really difficult, but the lion contributed his part to a more or less acceptable image.

(Nikon D500, 200-500mm at 200mm, ISO 16000, f/5.6, 1/6 (!) )
(Nikon D500, 200-500mm at 500mm, ISO 16000, f/5.6, 1/320)
