The parade featured the six ships of the Belle époque, which are still in operation. 5 boats are running with steam engines (Montreux, La Suisse, Savoie, Simplon and Rhône), where as Vevey is running with a Diesel engine. (See more on the website of CGN).
I used my Nikon D4, lens Sigma 50 – 500mm on a tripod to make those images. Unfortunately the weather was not very good, no direct sunlight, very flat contrast. But anyhow, seeing those ships in a parade like that is beautiful.
