Very challenging to photograph swallows. They fly so fast and in unpredictable directions, so to a big extend it is luck to have such a bird in the frame.
I took with my Sony A1 and the 200-600mm lens at a shutter speed of 1/3200 sec about 3100 frames, out of them about 50 are usable.
