At this time of the year we often see big flocks of starlings preparing themselves for their long trip to more southern, warmer regions. This year we have the impression that there are exceptionally big numbers of starlings around.While walking the dogs a huge flock passed over us, it took long from the first to the last bird and impressiv, but not very clean experience.
