2019-07-19 Lavendel Insects

I used a Sony Alpha 9 camera and a 100 – 400mm lens with a 1.4 teleconverter attached for those images. First I startet with Auto ISO an a minimum shutter speed of 1/1000 sec, later I increased that to 1/2000 sec.

ISO values used vary between 800 and 2000. Noise is still very much acceptable. 

The high speed camera mode with full autofocus tracking on this camera is mind blowing. 20 images per second at full RAW resolution is quit stunning. The memory card fills up quickly and image selection later on on the computer takes time, but the results are very satisfying.
